Located in the southern part of the Barossa Valley, near the town of Lyndoch, this winery is run by Trevor Jones, an industry veteran. His business operates on two levels, Kellermeister, founded in 1979 with the emphasis on low-cost traditional Barossa wine styles and Trevor Jones, established in 96, a ultra-premium range, with a strong export focus.
Named after the Wild Witch vineyard which is nestled in the hills above Lyndoch, this Shiraz is not for the faint hearted. Traditional viticulture techniques ensure that this wine is produced to optimal quality. The concentrated spicy, peppery aromas of this dry grown shiraz, tamed after two and a half years in a combination of French and American Oak are full bodied, voluptuous and opulent.
