The 2004 Descendant is by far the most impressive release of this wine, the colour making that immediately apparent; completely black/purple with healthy, vibrant magenta hues. A pure, wild, powerful nose of blackberry and tar is complimented by a gentle floral lift of lavender and violets. Fullbodied with great concentration, silky tannins and perfectly judged extract, this vigorous and suave young wine has a long, long future ahead of it.
First Growth is Parker Coonawarra Estate's flagship wine representing the finest expression of the estates winemaking skills. First Growth is made in only the finest seasons and when the vintage is deemed to have the potential to age for around 15 years.
Our homage to the great old vines of the Barossa Valley, this wine is composed of 100% Shiraz. Complex and concentrated, the wine is cloaked in velvet tannins that will continue to develop for another 10 at least. The Factor is all that you would expect of a pureblood Barossa Shiraz.
Hobbs Shiraz vineyard being the main component of this wine was planted in 1998 and with 4% Viognier. Vivid colour. Quite perfumed, with clean, pure fruit. The palate is fresh, pure and shows elegant fruit. A very promising wine with lots going on.
Picked from our own Semillon vines planted in the early 1960's. All of our dessert wines are made the same way. We do not use Botrytis infected fruit or fortification in any of our dessert wines. After hand picking the grapes are placed into trays and semi dried.

Pretty, fresh and slightly herby with some complexity. The palate is soft and sweet with a nice freshness and some peachy, herby elements.
Semi-dried fruit, very much in the Amarone style. Sweet ripe berry fruit nose, with some raspberry and blackcurrant character. The palate shows lovely vivid, pure fruit with some sweetness. Really interesting stuff with lovely fruit quality. Fantastic with chocolate based desserts.
