94/100
The Wine Advocate
I tasted the 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Art Series several months ago and again rated it 94+. It is a gorgeous Cabernet that is much richer and more multidimensional than the 2000.
WA, Robert Parker Jr. Issue: #155

88/100
Wine Companion
Medium red-purple; the bouquet has a complex array of cedary, spicy black fruit aromas, the medium-bodied palate very much in the savoury, cedary end of the spectrum, but does have clean blackcurrant fruit underpinning the structure. The best for some years.

Bev Portal

Wine of great purity, elegance, finesse with soft and ripe tannins.

Noticed some bottle variation.

Tasted 25 Nov 2015

86/100
Wine Spectator
Supple, velvety and generous with its dark-tinged berry, cedar and pepper flavors, narrowing a bit on the finish.
WS, Harvey Steiman Issue: 2003

16/20
Jancis Robinson
Very dark crimson. Sweet and velvety opulent on the nose. Rather more seductive than most. A bit of interest. Sweet fruit grab on the front palate and very much alive. There is energy here!!! Nervy and with some tannin still left to dissipate but very long and vibrant. Sweet. Perhaps too sweet?
