A small family business established in 1928 in the historic town of Lyndoch in the southern part of the Barossa Valley. Making estate grown wines from a 10 hectare vineyard, Burge Family produce a wide range of premium wines focussing on low yielding, high quality crops. Wines include Draycott, a Shiraz made with fruit from 45-year-old vines and the Wilsford Barossa Muscat, a dessert wine made with grapes picked from 70-year old Muscat vines. With the exception of the Semillon, the wines are aged in a mix of new and old French oak.
